WeirdWired is the unpredictable product of a chaotic mind. You can subscribe to it for free. You can also subscribe to it for paid.

There is no actual difference between the tiers. It exists solely because one person said, "I want to compensate you for your creative labor" (which, incidentally, is the hottest thing you can tell a writer). So I said, "Ok!"

How it works

I write stuff and I send it. That's as far as I've gotten in my planning process (such as it is). But--and this is SO galling an admission for an overanxious person to make--all the best things in my life thus far have been the result of not really thinking things through.

Why tho?

Once I was a copywriter. Then I got laid off and replaced by AI.

And not just any AI: Copilot, the worst one!

But! I miss writing! All my current gig requires me to do with a pen is sign my timesheet before it gets submitted.

I also have, ahem, a bad habit of dropping off the face of the Earth for months or years at a time, and I'd like to be better about that. The problem is: I like you, but I dislike social media; I am also easily overwhelmed by the internet. But this, I think I might be able to manage.

What to expect

Essentially a blog that I can send to the inboxes of people who have, by subscribing, indicated that they want to hear from me.

Is there more?

Maybe!
